Medicare Rebates

​​Medicare can assist in the payment of your psychology sessions. You can receive up to 10 rebated sessions per year through the Medicare Better Access initiative. To receive your rebate, you must obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (available from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist). 
Individuals with a chronic illness or disease may also be eligible for additional rebates under an Enhanced Primary Care plan, which also requires a GP referral.

Private Health Insurance

If you currently have private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim part of your session expenses depending on your type of coverage. These can be processed on the spot in our clinic. Please contact your private health provider directly to obtain information on your plan and coverage for psychological sessions.
